Hi protected internal:- "The type or member can be accessed by any code in the same assembly, or by any derived class in another assembly". It means that we can access a "protected internal" method by accessing any instance of it's class in the same assembly, in any class in different assembly which derives from the class, but we won't be able to access the method by accessing an instance of it's class in different assembly. hi, The type or member can be accessed by any code in the assembly in which it is declared, or from within a derived class in another assembly. What you say is basically correct. 'protected internal' (or 'internal protected') when applied to a class member means that the member is accessible from anywhere in the current assembly or by classes in other assemblies which inherit from the class containing the member. Notice that this is the union of the 'internal' and 'protected' access modifiers. The CLR also supports the intersection of the 'internal' and 'protected' access modifiers for class members but this is not supported by C# or VB.NET, though it is supported by C++/CLI.
