Question

Hey I am actually .Net Developer, I was thinking that what should a developer know in order to successfully develop softwares. I mean like which tools they should know to work on? which principles, etc...

Hi.. Mostly for real-time applications - 1. one must understand the user's requirements... 2. know basis about databases (normalization ; primary key ; unique key ; foreign key ; sql queries to fetch data) etc... 3. basis of designing - eg - for a loginpage ; we use - labels / textboxes and button. 4. which control to use where (eg - labels to write -"UserName" ; textboxes for users input ; etc) 5. architecture in which the portal/website is to be developed (3 tire architecture / mvc / mvvm / etc)... I mean like which tools they should know to work on? You should know about the below tools: Visual Studio - Most of the developer use this for developing a wide range of apps. Basic Knowledge of .Net Framework C#/Vb.Net Language Working style of ASP.Net (If you are a web developer) Regarding "principles" : Basic OOPs concepts Hope this helps!
