Difference between vb.net and c#.net

As of the latest versions, the main difference in functionality is that C# supports the use of pointers in unsafe code but VB does not and, probably, never will.

Currently, VB also lacks iterators though they will be added in the next version and are part of the Async CTP (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/gg316360).

In future, the two languages are expected to evolve along similar lines.

C# is case sensitive while VB is not case sensitive.
