Hi...

I am working in asp.net and i want to display record in database when we select the item in dropdownlist and gridview ie. show gridview record (like particular column value)and dropdownlist(select value) in database?

In case if someone stumble to this thread then here's a quick example using the ADO.NET way:

Note: Make sure to set AutoPostback to TRUE in your dropdownlist to trigger the selectedindexchanged event.

onselectedindexchanged="DropDownList1_SelectedIndexChanged". And grid autopostback = "true"

Put your whole select query and fire that query on dropdown event of onselectedindexchanged="DropDownList1_SelectedIndexChanged". Also put the grid autopostback = "true". If you still have any question show me your html code and the sql query you are firing at back. And I will implement it for you. Thanks.
