divide gridview according to column wise.

Hello Experts,

I am creating a gridview dynamically. Also the number of columns are created according to database items. And the gridview width is exceeding the main page due to vast number of columns. So I want to display it section wise. Someone please suggest me some solutions.

hi,

you can place your gridview inside a div. whenever your gridview siz increases a scroll bar will come.

Hello Shibasankar,

As per you screenshot I think you just want to display available, break or booked status of doctor's schedule. If it is only display information, I suggest you to use server side html table and add rows and columns according to you need rather than using heavy GridView control .

You can use this as well

Bind data to the table eg. like so:
var row = new TableRow();
row.AddCell(stock.Sku);
row.AddCell(stock.Description);
row.AddCellTextbox("txtQty", cart.Values[key]); row.AddCell(stock.Price.ToString());
Table1.Rows.Add(row);

Yes that is the problem. Actually I am creating a doctor schedule page for a day. Where doctor working hours will be divided into number of slots. I am sending you a screen shot so that it will be easily understood by you. You please provide me any other way of doing this page.

no. its not possible to break it. but you can achive it by using two gridview bind half data to one anothe half to other one. but its not good.

Hello Sir, I don't want it to be scroll for a gridview. Is there any way so that half of gridview will be displayed in the next line?
