Dotnet vs Javascripts framework

AS JavaScript is continuously evolving and running with a fast pace how dotnet is doing to keep up the pace. or what are the areas where dotnet wins the battle ?

I am little bit confused about your question : Why you are comparing JS with .Net? JS is a client side component but .net is a framework. Both are evolving in its own path. There are lot of JS libraries are introduced like JQuery, Angular JS etc. .Net also got lot of newly created libraries for each and every version. Like ASP.Net MVC, SignalR Library, WPF, WCF, WF ,Single Page Application, EF etc.
So, don't worry both technologies are improved in its own path. :)
