Drawing on a Label

You just need to override the paint for the label in the form. You can do this either through visual studio by clicking on the label and then choose the lightening bolt. Double click in the Paint event. This will produce an on paint routine for you to override. Or Manually: In initialize component, hookup the event handler: this.label1.Paint += new System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventHandler(this.label1_Paint); Then create the event handler and draw the line through the label private void label1_Paint(object sender, System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventArgs e) { e.Graphics.DrawLine(Pens.Black, 0, label1.Height/2, label1.Width, label1.Height/2); } -Mike G.
