Drawing problem

I am using a form as a drawing surface. The problem is the shapes I draw using Pen and Brush are partly wiped when they are covered with a dialog box such as a ColorDialog.How is this avoided? Thanks.

You need to draw objects on paint event handler so it can be redrawn whenever controls are rendered. If you are calling on a button click event handler or other event handler, you need to call that method from paint event handler.
