Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.

You should use in or exists operator when you think your sub query will return more than one rows.

Here's an examples
SELECT
     EmployeeName
From
     Employee
Where
     EmplId In (Select EmpId From EmployeeAddress)

SELECT
     EmployeeName
From
     Employee  A
Where
     Exists
            (
                   Select
                         EmpId
                    From
                         EmployeeAddress B
                    Where
                         A.EmplId = B.EmpId

            )

your sub query return more then value. please check duplicate data or use

select distinct name
select top 1 name
