Extract Icon From an exe

HI I extracted some Icons from an exe file.(using ExtractIconEx) but when i save them the quality of icon comes down and colors are less than original icon .... i have used imagelist too, but nothing repaired.. who can help me?

I've used Microangelo. It extracts icons form DLLs and some EXEs. You could always PrintScreen and paste it into a graphics program, save as a GIF, open it Microangelo, and then save as an icon.

Sorry I cannot help you. Actually I want to ask about how to extract the Icons from exe, dll or ico file. Thanks in advanced.
