Hi All,
Hope you are doing well !!
I am having overall 2 years of experience in java core but as recently I switched to another company and now have to work on ASP.NET Core.
So am a little confused about whether I will continue my career at asp.net or have to switch my company for technology change.
Or if I should continue in asp.net then what are the things I will learn to become a full-stack asp.net developer?
Please help and suggest.
Many Thanks!!

If you are needed to handle ASP.NET Core tasks in current company, then happily continue with it, you won't regret its really much better than saying no to management. After some period if you want you can move back into java.
Changing tech is not a problem especially java and .net skills are both almost similar and relatable and transferable(I am not much experienced, as per my little exposure).
C# with ASP.NET Core is better than Java In my opinion, ASP.NET Core is very easy for backend development, it is constantly updated and upgraded, is bit faster compared to Java in certain instances (depending on how you test it, but response time is better in C# and it can handle higher loads). In my opinion C# is the future because now you can use it on all different OS.
Both are used for enterprise developments. In recent periods, .Net is very stimulating and getting picked up rapidly in various places. while seeing the big demand, community, support, ASP.NET Core is advisable.

Java has always more opportunities than c#. But as ASP.NET Core is cross platform , it is getting more popularity and there will be no less-opprtunity in near future so don't worry.
Also, learning .NET is easy, as you already know java you will find it very similar, more over you will have knowledge of 2 technologies so it will be better for your future. It is always better to learn multiple languages.

Hi Sam,
Sorry for the confusion but it is asp.net core using c# language.

Java is a language. Neither ASP.Net nor ASP.Net Core are languages.
You say ASP.NET Core and you say asp.net (not Core?). Which is it?
