I wrote a hangman game for my 4 year old. You can create an xml file that stores all of the words that will be randomly selected. Give the user [X] chances to guess the correct word. If they are not able to guess the word in [X] tries they lose. Otherwise, they've won. It's a very simple concept and shows more effort than the default "guess a number" game.
