Getting child component data in parent component

Question

How can get values from child component to parent component. I have a child component called child in that component I have a drop down control based on drop down Changes I will get data in parent component Can anyone pls tell me

Hello Siva , Yes you can acheive this using @output decorator in angular. let me give you small example: @Output ddValue=new EventEmitter() OnChnageEvent($event){ this.ddValue.emit($event.target.value); } and in your parent component you can get the value in the method if you want full example then just send a reply i will share Thank you

There are multiple ways to resolve this issue: 1. Using the output: You could use the Output decorator to create an evenemitter which will emit everytime someone changes the dropdown value. For more information: https://angular.io/guide/inputs-outputs#sending-data-to-a-parent-component 2. You could create an RxJS Subject which will emit each time someone changes the values and will pass the dropdown value via next method.
