Gridview fixed header problem

Gridview header is fixed in compatability mode(IE 8), i want to fix the header without compatability mode ,but the header is fixed on IE 6.can anyone pls post the answer its very urgent

Am using below css, and working for me in IE8.

{
   z-index:0;
   position: relative;
   top:expression(this.parentNode.parentNode.parentNode.scrollTop);
   left:expression(this.parentNode.parentNode.parentNode.scrollLeft);
   right:expression(this.parentNode.parentNode.parentNode.scrollRight);
   bottom:expression(this.parentNode.parentNode.parentNode.scrollBottom);
}
