GUI hages while try to connect unrechable host in socket programming ?

I develop a client-socket application in which while reaching to unreachable host my GUI hanges ,it not process pending windows messages. i am using Socket class for programming.

.Is anybudy knows how to process windows messages on connect request in sockect class ?

Socket.ReceiveTimeout and Socket.SendTimeout should do the trick, anyway if you are programming a socket listener then you`d have nothing to worry about timeouts if you do it asynchronously

you must use connect timeout, read timeout or such params for the socket component otherwise the connect attempt will last forever (INFINITE) and hung your appy ;)
