help me in creating web crawler

well freinds i want to make a web crawler in through ASP.NET using C#. so i want to know whether ASP.NET provide any function which take a URL(link) as an input & return the content of that URL page as an output like PHP's fopen function. if not then how an i do the same thing (mean get contents of desired page).Plzz tell me ASAP
