Working from home and working without pressure is not the same thing.

There are jobs that offer partial or full time teleworking (remote working), but it does not mean that you won't feel pressure...

This is especially the case with freelancing, I would even go that far to say that it's more pressuring because you have to manage your finances smartly, you have to communicate with your end users on regular bases, you have to worry that your products/solutions are at top notch (if they are not you'll be graded badly and will have problem with acquiring future projects), etc.

Also from a 4 years developer one can expect a lot, but I believe freelancing requires even more. To test out your capabilities I would suggest you to try out the TestDome's tests for programmers. They are a pretty good indication if you can handle the freelancing, for example try these numerical reasoning tests and these verbal reasoning tests. How did you do?

Now regarding the SEO, well that is quite different then software enginneer's job. That job is essentially related to internet marketing, public relations, promoting, etc.

I must admit it seems rather strange that you would want to move from enginneering to marketing...
