How can i post code on forums

Start by typing something in the post where you want to put the code. Be sure to create a line or more after the code too, unless you know for sure you don't want to type anything after the code. Then with the cursor in the text where you want your code, go to the drop-down box at the top right of the editor window; it is under the "Post a reply" header. From the drop-down box select "Formatted". I usually also indent the text. So then click on the "HTML" tab at the bottom of the editor window. Copy the code from Visual Studio or some other editor and paste it in place of the text you typed previously. Then click on the "Design" tab and the code should be formatted as you want. Note that I usually copy the code from a VS editor window into a textfile window and remove the leading tabs from the lines so that they don't take up extra space and then I copy from the temporary text file into the forum window. I don't remove the tab characters that are useful to provide formatting.
