how do i remove selected row permanently from sql database through datagrid?

I presume you work with a dataset that connects the database and is then shown in the datagridview, and you work connectionless.

1. get the index of the selected row in de datagridview
2. delete that row from the dataset

          DataTable dt = contactenDataSet.Tables[];
          DataRow row = dt.Rows[];
   

3. now sync the database with your dataset using a dataAdapter

               
               // this is an example for oledb (ms access)
               // exept for the driver its the same for other db's
               OleDbConnection conn = new OleDbConnection();
   
               conn.ConnectionString = 
   
               // make data adapter
               OleDbDataAdapter dAd = new OleDbDataAdapter();
   
               // define select query
               dAd.SelectCommand = new OleDbCommand("SELECT * FROM table", conn);
   
               // make comman commanbuilder
               OleDbCommandBuilder cmdBuilder = new OleDbCommandBuilder(dAd);
   
               // Define SQL commands
               // insert - update - delete
               dAd.InsertCommand = cmdBuilder.GetInsertCommand();
               dAd.UpdateCommand = cmdBuilder.GetUpdateCommand();
               dAd.DeleteCommand = cmdBuilder.GetDeleteCommand();
   
               // database get updated
               dAd.Update(contactenDataSet, );
               contactenDataSet.AcceptChanges();
