We can call web api using
*) Httpwebclient
*) Httpwebrequest
we all know every api had adress(url) method type,body
example code for calling POST method
var content = new StringContent(jsonObject.ToString(), Encoding.UTF8, "application/json");
var result = client.PostAsync(url, content).Result;
example code for GET method
HttpClient client = new HttpClient();
HttpResponseMessage response = await client.GetAsync("http://www.contoso.com/");
response.EnsureSuccessStatusCode();
string responseBody = await response.Content.ReadAsStringAsync();
*)Even using Ajax also we can call web api
