How to add button in email body

Question

Dear All,

How do we add an asp.net button to email body.my requirement is to add two buttons in email body of outlook and to execute some piece of code when user clicks on each button.

how to create the button? and write the click events for it? and i am using c sharp language.

Hi Sucindran For that you can have Html.and you can pass the html body to mail body. So you can made html template as per your needs and pass it to the email body which works. you can use this http://csharp.net-informations.com/communications/csharp-html-email.htm Hope this helps. Thanks

hi, you can add HTML in email body. so try... MailMessage mail = new MailMessage(); ..... ..... mail.IsBodyHtml = true; string htmlBody; htmlBody = " Test "; mail.Body = htmlBody; .... .... but it not good idea... hope this help.

you can have the html content as email body and you can place the two buttons in the html table. you can write the javascript to redirect when click on the button. In the mail message class, you need to set the body type as html.
