How to calculate Interest between two dates ?

Nikunj in my first message  I have marked calculated date with green color. So from there you will get total  time period in date for your interest formula.

 

 

decimal   m_PrincipalAmount; 

decimal   m_InterestRate; 

 

decimal   m_InterestAmount  = ((m_PrincipalAmount  *  m_InterestRate)  /  100);

 

Please try once.

Nikunj I think you should first find out the time period, then you can easily calculate interest as per the requirement. So please once try below code:

 

DateTime  m_FromDate = DateTimePicker01.Value;;

DateTime  m_ToDate = DateTimePicker02.Value;

TimeSpan  m_TimeSpan =  m_ToDate - m_FromDate;

 

 

So now from here you can calculate  interest easily either simple interest or compounding interest.
