HOW TO CONVERT HTML CONTROLS TO ASP CONTROLS ?.

I'm not sure, which reason forces you to convert the "HTML" control to "Server" Controls?

Yes. You are partially right. But still you don't have any server side events for these controls. If you want server side events also go with "pure" Server controls.

No. Either you go with "HTML" control or "Server" controls! That's all!

If you want "Server" side events (which is executed in server) then you go with server side. If you need only client side events (call javascript during click event  etc) then you can use HTML  control .

Hope this helps!
