I'm guessing that you want to convert the rendered HTML file NOT the source HTML code. Correct? One thing to keep in mind here is that you should decide whether the PDF is going to be image based PDF (Each page consists of images only) or document based PDF (could include text and other objects). If you want to convert it to image based PDF, I once worked on something similar that lets you load the HTML file and render it. The way I did that by using a library called leadtools that took care of everything for me. If you want to convert the HTML page to document PDFs, this might need some Optical Character Recognition. Many libraries can enable you to perform OCR on the rendered HTML to extract the text and save the result PDF as image over text such as tesseract. Another approach is to use virtual printer driver, within your application you need to use a web control to print the page then capture the print job using the virtual printer and save the result to PDF.

am sorry that am not very clear in my post...i want to convert my aspx page (its actually an invoice page...) to pdf....and to send mail with pdf attachment.... so i am looking how to convert my aspx page...to pdf by URL......which contains gridview and inline styles applied on the page could you plz help ...? for ex: i have 2 page default.aspx invoice.aspx when i click button in default.aspx to generate pdf....by passing the url of invoice.aspx just like passing generateinvoice("localhost:1234//invoice.aspx"); i should get my invoice.aspx page tp invoice.pdf with the styles applied..on the pdf page .. how to achieve this using any opensource dll.....could you plz elaborate.... as am new beee here...so that i can understnd plzzzzzzzzz can any one see this problem and send some answer i got strucked urgent..................................
