How to deploy Visual Studio Desktop application on Ubuntu

Hi,
I have created a setup of my desktop application (developed in Visual Studio).
How I can deploy it to Ubuntu or ant linux flavour?
What steps I hav to take?

am talking about Framework 2.0 not mono

Hi, the link of the frmaewrok u hav given is dead. So just wanted to ask , r u talking about mono frame work?

Download and Install WineHQ on Ubuntu System then Install FrameWork 2.0 on it and run your .net Setup or Application

To add Repository on Ubuntu in Bash Shell enter following Command

if you are using Ubuntu latest 9.04 then

 sudo wget http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/sources.list.d/jaunty.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winehq.list

Download Frame Work

as all .net Application will not run because Framework is Fully not Supported under wine Environment
