how to display application icon?

I want to display application icon when i run my setup file.

Your application & setup file icon must be same. So there is no problem to display same icon during setup. :-)

you need to create a Setup Project from Visual Studio that will allow you to customize your setup ..like if you want to display some graphics in Setup Wizard Icon of Setup File etc ..
