HOW TO INSTALL SILVERLIGHT?

.NET Fx 3.5 SP1 and VS 2008 SP1 both are different. .NET Fx 3.5 is a framework on which you can create great applications(web, windows & cloud). VS 2008 is a development tool, more specifically an IDE, which helps you to give all things in a basket so that you can start developing your applications.

I suggest you to install SP1 for both .NET Fx and VS 2008.

Hi,

I need it for development. I have .net 2.0,3.0 and 3.5sp1 installed on my machine... I tried to install silverlight but it asks me to install VS 2008 sp1. Now what is the difference b/w .3.5 sp1 and VS 2008 sp1? Should i install it anyways? Or should i uninstall all those versions and then install VS 2008 sp1?.... Plzz reply its urgent

Do you need Silverlight for development or to run the apps? Visual Studio 2010 SP1 already has it.
