How to make antroid applications?

I want to know more about antroid operating systems and programming and application development for antroid
also tell me which is the tool and language used to create antroid applicaions.?

I don't have any experience in developing android application. But Java is well known language for developing mobile applications.

The majority of applications for Android are written in Java but the tool which interests us most on this site is Mono for Android (http://android.xamarin.com/) which enables you to use C# instead. Unlike Mono itself, this is a commercial product and you therefore have to purchase a license.
