How to make transparent

I created mdi form inside that added a label to display welcome message but i don't want to display background of the label it need to be transparent i already applied the transparent through property but it's not work for me. how can i make the label background transparent

set the background-color:#00ff00; if not
then you can set the opacity:05 to make transparent also

Go into label properties and select backcolor
Select web and then transparent
