How to modify an XP 32bit program to work in Win7 32bit

Hi all....

I have a program written by somebody else.It worked in XP 32 bit , now I have Win 7 32 bit and it will start,showing the program window but not do anything else when I click the "Go" button it has. Compatability and run as administrator does not help.

Maybe somebody here can do the modifying?If so I can give you the program link and explain what it supposed to do.

Tried that before I posted my question....did not help,but good news now!

Problem Solved!
Thanks for trying to help...but a programmer on another forum gave me advice on what the problem could be.
This led me to this page,using that info where the problem I had was solved.

HI,
goto your exe properties ,Click on the Compatibility tab->Compatibility -> click Run This Program in Compatibility Mode and choosing Windows XP
it will work.
