How to read and Write data to XML file in C# ?

See my samples in How to access fields and values from an XML Database. The XmlSerializer class can make your code easier; you need to spend time learning how to use the XmlSerializer class but it is worth learning.

Is this for an ASP or desktop application? The reason I am not sure is because the forum this question is in implies your application is desktop, but DataGrid implies ASP.

Writing to XML files is quite easy in ASP.NET as there are so many objects prepared for you -- you just need the syntax on how to use them. This code shows you how to write a simple member XML file.
