Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet";

Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment: filename=" + "ErrorReport.xlsx");

Response.BinaryWrite(Eps.GetAsByteArray());

Response.End();

return this.RedirectToAction("index",false);

but its not redirect

Hi Sunil,

You need to provide cotroller name of index action method, please try like this,
return RedirectToAction(“ActionName”,”ControllerName”);
//Here your action is Index and which controller you want redirect that you need to give there

//For Example index method of home controller then

return RedirectToAction(“Index”,”Home”);

Their are many ways like
1) RedirectToAction method takes an parameter like
A) Index name - if your are calling the from the same controller & redirect to an Index action method.
return RedirectToAction("index");
B) Index name, controller name - if you are calling another action method from different controller.
return RedirectToAction("index", "person");
C) Index name, controller name, objec of model - if you are calling another action method from different controller, if you are passing any object to your action method then you can pass
Model dist = new Model();
return RedirectToAction("Index", "person", dist);
2) In you action method first create a excel file & download it from the location i.e you can directly return from action method like
public ActionResult DownloadExcel(parameters)
{
    /// your export data code here
return HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("filePath");

}
3) You can return an empty result from your action method & before that you can download the file.
public ActionResult DownloadExcel(parameters)
{
    /// your export data code here
  return new EmptyResult();
}
