If you have a string that contains HTML, you can use the LEADTOOLS DocumentConverter Class to convert it as follows:
using (MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream())
{
string HTMLString = " Test HTML
Hello WebWorld!
";
StreamWriter writer = new StreamWriter(ms);
writer.Write(HTMLString);
writer.Flush();
ms.Position = 0;
var options = new LoadDocumentOptions();
using (var document = DocumentFactory.LoadFromStream(ms, options))
{
using (DocumentConverter documentConverter = new DocumentConverter())
{
var outFile = @"outFile.doc";
var format = DocumentFormat.Doc;
var jobData = DocumentConverterJobs.CreateJobData(document, outFile, format);
jobData.JobName = "conversion job";
var job = documentConverter.Jobs.CreateJob(jobData);
documentConverter.Jobs.RunJob(job);
}
}
}

The Result will look like this:

You can use a professional toolkit like LEADTOOLS to convert your HTML to a Word File. The code can be as simple as the following:
BITMAPHANDLE TmpBitmap;
nRet = L_LoadBitmap (inputHTMLName, &TmpBitmap, sizeof(BITMAPHANDLE), 0, ORDER_BGR, NULL, NULL);
nRet = L_SaveBitmap(outputDOCName, & TmpBitmap, FILE_DOC, 1, 0, NULL);
