How to use timer control in asp.net 2.0?

Hi i am sankar.I am using dotnet 2005 .and then i want refresh a method only using timer control,but i have used timer control in my application,but it's didn't work properly.So please tell me how to use timer control in asp.net 2.0?

i have created only asp.net website.So didn't work properly ajax control.I was found a problem then create a asp.net ajax enable website.Then that's working properly.

Hi Anuja pawar,

This is displaying only Time,but didn't refresh the time in asp.net 2.0.But this coding properly working in asp.net 3.5.What i do timer control run in asp.net 2.0?

simple example of Timer control. just used to update a timestamp every 5 seconds.

We only have a single CodeBehind function, which you should add to your CodeBehind file:
