How to write a stored precedure statement for update

Is this SQL Server? If so it's very easy to do in Enterprise Manager. Go to your database, right click on Stored Procedures, and click 'New Stored Procedure'. You can look through the default systems sprocs to see precisely the syntax you need, but here is an example. create procedure dbo.ProcName ( @Var1 int, @Var2 varchar(20), @Var3 decimal(18,3) ) as UPDATE [TableName] SET Column1 = @Var1, Column2 = @Var2, Column3 = @Var3 WHERE [Condition] GO Obviously replace the TableName, Condition and variables with what you need. Once you have created a sproc, you will need to open it back up and assign permissions on it. If you're using Oracle, I have no clue, so let us know if that is the case.
