select r.Level2).Distinct();

In your code you are fetching all records then FirstorDefault. It will return only one records. So when you are thinking to return distinct values. Please provide the requirement..

Try like below:

var result = (from rec in Level
select rec.Level2).Distinct();
foreach (var p in result)
{
Console.WriteLine(p);
}
