I need help in understanding a C# Code

I have a C# code that is used to retrieve data from a project management tool. I need to understand what data the code is pulling. Is there any hint in the code ( LIKE METHODS, CLASSES, COMMANDS)that helps me understanding this. i am new to C#

Obviously, if anyone is new then understanding a pre-written code is somewaht challenging and time consuming. It all depends on how the coder writes a code and how nicely he/she documents it.

For better understanding:
Read the code
Debug it
Repeat, if it still appears to be confusing
And try adding comment wherever necessary.
Below are the tips which the coder must follow which inturns helps the reader to understand it easily and more quickly.
- Properties name should be self-explanatory. (i.e, by reading the name one can easily understand what value they refer to)
- Method name should be such that, it explains what operation will be performed by the method.
- Adding appropriate brief comment to your code explaining the code in short.

If you have C# code,you can understand by reading XML comments, normal comments "//" , members, method names, alternatively you can debug and check. All the best.

Hi Harsha

You need to read the comments in the code to undertand the functionality and function.
If there is no comment then you can type those function name in good and read the details in microsoft documentations. If you can Debug the code by putting break point , where you are not clear about function, it will be the best way to do so.
It will help you understand the code , various functions, data type , Arguments etc.
