Image annotation

I am new to the imaging. Could any body provide information on Image annotation. is there any free tools available. I want to put some annotation on the image. anntotation might be some textual information or some drawing objects like rectangle, circles or line. How to do this ? give me some examples in terms of code. Thanks

You can use LEADTOOLS Document SDK technology in your application.

You can leverage the AnnAutomation and AnnAutomationManager classes to draw and edit annotations on an image or document. Many of the annotations objects (AnnTextObject, AnnEllipseObject, AnnPolylineObject, etc.) are predefined, but you can create new custom object types like the circle annotation that you mentioned.

GDI+ is a means of drawing text, images and primitives onto a surface. It also provides the means to create the surface and to save it to a graphics file. GDI+ surfaces are instances of the Graphics class. These surfaces provide methods to draw on them. This example loads a bitmap from disk, draws a solid box in the upper-left corner and write "GDI+ Test" in the box, then saves the bitmap to a new file. private void button4_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { //get a surface with an image on it.
