image delete from folder in edit opreation

Hi,

i store a image path in a folder as well as database.so i need when a user delete a image from database same time image within folder should be delete.

how i solve this issue.

Hello,

You can try this :
var filePath = ("" + filename);
if(File.Exists(filePath))
{
    File.Delete(filePath);
}

First store image path in any variable from table which you want to delete like
string path=""; //from DB

then fire delete query

After successfully deleting the records you have to execute this code.

if (File.Exists(path))
{
File.Delete(path);
}
