Install sharepoint no Window 7 (32 bit )

Hi

If you have windows 2008 R2 then you can install the sharepoint foundation 2010 and this is enough for starting and learning with Sharepoint.

Here what you need to do

- Install Windows 7 Ultimate x64
- Install SharePoint Prerequisites
- Install SharePoint 2010
- Install KB970315 -> SQL 2008 CUP

- Run SharePoint Configuration wizard --->
- Restart the system
- Install KB976462 -> Install notice for the beta issue on Windows 7
- Restart the system
- Run SharePoint Configuration wizard again...

There are lot differences are there between Sharepoint 2007 and Sharepoint 2010. Moreover Sharepoint 2010 is latest in the market.

For this you need to install a small utility from Bamboo solutions : wssOnVista. It is free.
