I have 3years experience in .net. i have given 7 to 8 interviews but not able to crack any because of 2years gap in employment so getting frustrated

Hey @panse vaishali don't worry . i have also face same problem .i have give 20+ interview .But not cracked .But i have continued .and now i have job .

study new technology as like

EntityFramework,MVC,WCF,JQuery and Angular Js. you can study this technology from C-sharpcorner.com and try pratical on you computer .You will get job sure .

Hey.. Same problem was arises with me also when after completing my graduation I was at home for one years because of my family problem. I did not tried for the job. Then after one year when I started giving interviews. I did not get any job. I was very worried about my carrier then once when I was searching on the internet for job. I visited http://crosscamp.us/ this website. I talked to them. They referred me to a company for the interview and I got selected. Its being two year, Now I am happy with my job.

Don't worry. Keep trying. You will get a job. I also has same problem. I have 3yrs of gap. I was also facing same problem. I was rejected in many companies. Many MNC does not consider year gap.
But many companies are there which do not bother about year gap. These kind of company look for good technical guy with good communication skills. My opinion is try to fill year gap. I mean you get 2 years teaching experience from some training institute. Improve your technical strength.

There is always a saying "Try and Try, untill you suceed..!"

Also, Never accept your failure, there is always a difference between a king and slave in a battle, King says, Lets Try and a Slave says Why to try? as he knew he gonna fail, but remember every failure teach you a lesson.

Lets take like this, you appeared an exam and failed writing an answer a question, And later after few months, you retook the exam in supply and same question repeated again. Now you should know what you learned from the difference between your main exam to supply, and what to answer your question? (dialogue copied from movie Julayi).

So I say try again, learn from your mistakes, practice your answer and explanations and never give up. Your choice makes you stand in the battle field, as its the competitive world. Good Luck :)

Keep patience everything will be fine. Do not loose heart by attending couple of interviews. LIFE means struggle.

Lets come to your problem: You are telling that it problem only for 2 years gap. Yes, it might be one reason but make sure that you don't have any knowledge problem from your side.

To overcome the problem, you have to work hard on two parts: Knowledge and Convey them(Speaking style)

Knowledge: As you are 3+ years of experience guy they will ask technical scenario questions how can resolve and why it is best like that. You need to be more technical strong. Go through basic and advance concepts in .Net. Read articles, questions available in internent. Here are some articles:

Once you impress interviewer by showing your talent 70% is done. So you need to work hard to achieve it. Secondly tell them why it was 2 years gap: teachering/lecturing/studying etc. I am sure they will consider you are honest and have good knowledge. Try to convey/win them by telling impressing words. Hope you get my point.
