Load xml data in data islands using javascript in asp.net

Hi,

Currently iam using xml data islands to loadxml file.but it's throwing the following error.
Object does not support method or property loadXML.below is the code iam using.
document.getElementById("AllXML").loadXML("Bad XML - Can not load page");
here AllXML is data island id.

Please suggest any other ways to do the same thing.
