Yes you can worked from this gap. You should show your talent to other that your gap not infected your carrier.

Always trust on yourself. 

I know Jean Paul suggested at least 6 months, but honestly I find that interval to be rather short. I would say you need at least 1 year, but this is purely subjective opinion... The truth is it depends on the work you did at that time, you see I often encountered developers which have less working time but more experience and knowledge. This is not just because they learn rapidly, this is because they had an opportunity to work on various different projects which enhanced their skill set.

Now to answer your question, well I would probably go with honesty.

But the interviewer asking that why are you looking for change  in 6 months after a long gap.

 

Here I am feeling nervous.
