Microsoft Power Platform - Power Apps Portal

Ashok Pundi

I am exploring Power Apps Portal. I am trying to use the Registration/Login page which is provided with the starter application. I have the following question:

Which CDS entity is the Registration and Profile data stored?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any easy ways to add fields to the registration screen. It is not an Entity Form that can be changed via configuration. Your only real option to customize that screen is to use JavaScript to add new fields to the form, and then come up with a way to get that data saved back to CDS (I’ve seen it done via a Companion App, or even by persisting it in browser storage until after the registration is complete and then using that information to prefill the profile form).

Hi Ashok,

Thank you. Yes, absolutely you can do that.

Chandresh,
Thank you. I suppose we can also use the Login/Register page as is, the registered users get added to the Contact entity, create a custom entity for additional fields and join it with the Contact entity.
