Mobile App using WPF

Hello experts,

I need to know what it takes to build mobile app , i am actually coming from oracle db background and trying out new things like building app, is it necessary to learn c# or do i need to know html , css, WPF and javascript as pre requisite.

Actuaully there are many different techniques to build mobile apps.
1 - Build a native Android apps with Java or Kotlin and Android Studio IDE
2 - Build a native iOS apps with Swift or Objective-C and X-Code IDE
3 - Build a native Android and IOS apps with C# and Xamarin platform
4 - Build Cross Platform native apps also with C# and Xamarin platform
5 - Build a Hyprid apps using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
But Xamarin is Highly recommended because you can build a native mobile apps for Android, IOS and Windows apps with up to 90% shared code between these platforms and you have access 100% to the all APIs that these platforms provide.

But of course building apps needs to connect a database and remote data source so also it is a good approche to have a good experince with Web APIs

So i would start building apps , using c# and wpf first then move on .Kindly let me know is it tough to learn asp .net , i know only c# (intermediate level) .Refer me to good websites were i can do some hands on training.

No not exactly HTML and CSS, but if you have a remote data source such as a database on a server you need a web api as an interface between your mobile clients and your database that are everything.
First you should focus on the mobile apps then you extend your knowledge by learning Web api, it's very easy techinque..

Thanks Ahmad, one more clarification when you say web api what do you mean by that, do i need to get more exposure on html and css stuff . My backend database would be oracle.
