Multiple search results in C# and JS. Help need...!

Hi Kaustubh,

I have given a try to your requirement and done following steps :

1. Create your UI like following :

<select class="form-control" id="selPropertyType">

<div class="col-md-3 form-group">
<select class="form-control" id="selRent">
<option>Rent 1option>
<option>Rent 2option>
<option>Rent 3option>
<option>Rent 4option>
select>
div>
<div class="col-md-3 form-group">
<button id="btnSearch" type="button" class="btn btn-primary">Searchbutton>
div>
div>

Again in the script section you can mention following :

@section Scripts {
@Scripts.Render("~/bundles/jqueryval")
}

And in the controller you can write following

public ActionResult GetSearchResult(string search,string propertyType, string rent)
{
List<string> resultList = new List<string>();
try
{
//Call to Database
}
catch(Exception exception)
{
}
return Json(resultList, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet);
}

Now in the code you can call to database as Rajneesh suggested and then populate your grid.

You can do a search with multiple items using AND in the WHERE clause.
For e.g. select * from specialmomnet where genreid in (...) AND secondcolumn in (..)
In your case:
Create Procedure Usp_GetSearchResult
(
@City NVARCHAR(100),
@Propertytype NVARCHAR(100),
@Rent NVARCHAR(100)
)
AS
BEGIN
Select * from tblSample Where City LIKE '%@City%' AND  Propertytype=@Propertytype AND  Rent=@Rent
END
The results is up to you which you want to display.(If you have multiple tables you can join)
As far as designing is concern you can get the same by searching from codepen or jsfiddle. freefrontend is also a good website which provide readymade form using javascript, HTML and CSS.
