multiply two coloum values display in textboxs

sama rr

if sql table like below

sno qunty rate
1 5 6
2 4 3.5

multiply coloum2 and coloum3
i have two textbox1,2

read
first textbox,second text box dispaly like ( qunty * rate )5*6= 30
firsttextbox=30,secondtextbox=14

o/p like

30

If you've filled a dataset 'ds' from the records in the database table, then this should work:

double quantity1 = Convert.ToDouble(ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["qnty"].ToString());
double rate1 = Convert.ToDouble(ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["rate"].ToString());
textBox1.Text = (quantity1 * rate1).ToString();

double quantity2 = Convert.ToDouble(ds.Tables[0].Rows[1]["qnty"].ToString());
double rate2 = Convert.ToDouble(ds.Tables[0].Rows[1]["rate"].ToString());
textBox2.Text = (quantity2 * rate2).ToString();

If the no. of rows in your sql server table is fix,you can add two textbox and display the multiplied data by either way as discussed above. but if table hold multiple record then you need to use gridview control and change your code accordingly.
