NVDA not announcing dropdown collapsed on Firefox / Chrome

When working on ADA (
Americans with Disabilities Act
) specific site the NVDA screen reader is not announcing dropdown collapsed and its value on Firefox / Chrome whenever a value is selected from it.
NVDA version used: 2016.2
Firefox : 50.1.0
OS: Windows 10
