Open the form and view the data by type

Hi guys I want to know how to do this, for example: I have a two forms , in form one I have two buttons button for students and a button for professors when pressing the students button move to the second form and display information for students and bring students data from the database as well as went pressing the button professors. and thanks

I have never started yet, I want to know how to do it, and i'm building winforms application. Also, if I have two files one for the students and the second for the professors when the i pressed on any button students or professors, the second form is displayed, the data is brought from the database and the file is imported, and everything i wrote it in textbox will saved in the file. i want to know the steps to do that , and do it by myself if i stuck i will back to you to give me some advices i have problems in my self i want to defeat it. sorry my english is bad.
