Krishna Mohan Varma, if you need an answer to a question, then ask the question but in a new thread. People here like to get credit for helping and you can't mark a post as an answer unless you created the thread. So people are more likely to provide answers for the people that created a thread.

I think it would be very difficult to do since it is my understanding that Windows uses a special desktop as the desktop when a show desktop is done. Are you still interested in suggestions for this?

Weeeee, I finally made it! :D After weeks of frustation.... The App Rainlendar has implemented that feature and it's open source too! So you just gotta search through the code and convert some of it into C# code (it's written in C++). I want to do exactly the same; I tried nearly every possibility, googled for a hundred times, searched for programs who already implemented a feature like that and even just ignored EVERY incoming Message in WndProc from my form but it seems that there isn't ANY possibility to keep a form open when the user clicks Show Desktop. Try overriding the WM_SHOWWINDOW procedure. I work in Delphi more than C but have a sample program that does what you want. EMail me and I'll send it to you. [email protected]
